GT Magazine, out this Wednesday, features X-Factor twins Jedward in a new look cover shoot and extended photo spread shot by Leigh Keily. GT Magazine and Leigh’s team have slicked down the infamous quiffs, slapped on some eyeliner (and an amazing tattoo) and shot the boys ahead of their Eurovision appearance. The News of the World yesterday (Sunday 17th) and today’s Metro newspapers have run teaser images ahead of the Wednesday news-stand appearance.
Earlier this year Leigh shot X-Factor contestant Aiden Grimshaw for the April cover and inside feature in GT. This series can currently be seen on his website www.keily.co.uk, with the full Jedward story to go live on Wednesday. Leigh has also been busy as Creative Director of Phoenix Magazine, a new tri-annual glossy magazine covering the best in emerging British design talent. For Phoenix, Leigh has shot Fashion Fringe winner Corrie Nielson, music producer Starsmith, Lady Gaga designer Asher Levine, an atomic inspired menswear editorial, and more.
