My big wig

'The coffee cantata'

I made this wig for Fflur Wyn pictured above who is the principle character in the opera.

The wig is 2feet high and took three days to build including the cage. It takes around half an hour to secure it to Fflurs head who wears it for less than an hour. She balances it perfectly throughout her performance and it compliments her character perfectly.

Be transported to the coffee houses of 18th-century Leipzig in this immersive evening of music and mind-altering substances (of the legal variety!). Sample delicious cakes served up by the award-winning Peyton and Byrne chefs, let our coffee expert demonstrate the effects of caffeine in a guided coffee tasting, and be entertained by the Early Opera Company performing J S Bach’s miniature comic opera 'The Coffee Cantata'.

Tickets are £20, including goulash, coffee and cake.
