Vintage styles to suit the modern woman

I think people worry about vintage hairstyles thinking that the may turn out looking like their Grandma's!
But you can always take a little hint of that hairstyle and combine it with yours.
For example, the Betty Page fringe which instantly frames your face and gives your hair that sexy edge!
Simple roller sets can give your hair movement and softness that we simply cannot get through blowdrying.
Try it! Think about the direction that you want the hair to fall in when you apply the rollers, whether you want it to flick up or down and get a parting ready.
Top tip...do not forget to get the ends of your hair into that roller and give the section a good comb through before you apply it. Make sure the roller is HOT not just warm

Create height in your fringe with a roller or two, rolling away from the face

A bob doesn't have to sit flat, use the volume that you naturally get and maybe smooth down the roots with a hairdryer and brush to avoid an afro look. The triangular shape was fashionable and still is. It makes a very impactful silhouette and doesn't require much maintenance.

Play with accessories in your hair, bows, scarves with a dash of red lippie to finish it off
Remember a few small rollers and this time a bit of Vitapoint leave in conditioner could give you a more glamorous look.

Vitapoint: Available at most Boots stores, my top secret ingredient. Put a pea sized amount in your finger tips, rub into your palms and work through mid lengths and ends after your roller set has been removed and brushed out.
Always works!
